A Horizon hosted IP telephony solution is built upon the Broadsoft IP communications  platform, and offers all the features and benefits of a digital telephony system, many additional features for businesses,  plus increased flexibility to adapt as the business changes, business continuity should the business chose to re-locate again, and a disaster recovery solution.

Horizon is delivered over Assured Broadband, with a fully configured Cisco managed router and pre-configured Cisco, Yealink or Polycom handsets.

Hosted voice is a monthly licensed service which replaces a traditional PBX. That means low upfront cost, allowing you to keep capital expenditure for other business needs. You can increase or decrease licences as and when you require for simple scalability.

One number anywhere

You own the number, so as you move, your number moves with you. Simply plug your office handset into any internet facing network anywhere in the world and make and receive calls using your UK DDI. Add a softphone to your laptop or pc, to make and receive calls through a headset plugged in to the laptop.

Fully Managed Service

Hosted voice is provided over a managed, assured broadband connection. The service is uncontended and ensures that you will always receive a high quality voice connection. The broadband connection is supplied with a free pre-provisioned Cisco router.

Horizon Licence Options 

Horizon Hosted IP telephony operates on a seat licence basis – each handset requires a seat licence.

3 options available;

  • Low User – a basic seat licence where the cost of calls are charged based upon usage. Calls are billed per second. £12.95 per month. Typically used by administration teams.
  • Landline Licence – includes 2000 minutes to UK landlines (01/02/03 numbers) £15.95 per month.
  • Inclusive Licence – includes 2000 minutes to UK landline plus 2000 minutes to UK mobile (07 numbers). £18.95 per month. Most often used by commercial teams.

Based upon the usage for each handset, we will select the most appropriate licence in order to maximise efficiency and savings.

Where the Horizon Licence is purchased in conjunction with the Assured Broadband service, there is a £1.00 License discount.
